My little friend is a Sturt’s Desert Pea fairy. Sturt’s Desert Pea is a plant native to Australia, and is the state emblem for Western Australia.

My fairy is felted, made from wool purchased from a supplier located in the Adelaide Hills. I have dyed the colours red, green, black and brown using food colouring and other plant material. The doll is free-standing and measure around 12.5 cm in height(including flower bonnet) and 4 cm wide (max).

She is one of a kind.
