The Queen’s Theatre
Inspired by 19th century paper theatres, I made a large paper theatre from a box for a children’s workshop, hosted by the City of Marion Libraries in 2024.
I drew inspiration from the Queen’s Theatre, Adelaide, the oldest theatre on mainland Australia, when designing the facade.
Thumbelina, 2024
A paper theatre made in 2024 inspired by the German folk tradition. The scene is features Thumbelina and Swallow from the Hans Christian Andersen’s classic Thumbelina. All pieces are hand painted on 300 gsm watercolour paper.
