This week I started a new diorama which is part of my Autumn Picnic project. The diorama features a barn owl reading a book.

The barn owl was made using the spun cotton technique, meanwhile, I made the book from paper. As a finishing touch, I’ve started decorating the pages of the miniature book.  created a collage of mushrooms using pictures a friend gifted me and wrote part of a story in pen. The story is about the mushroom folk, who live at the foot of a tree.

Watch me create the book in my vlog.

Now that Old Owl Donn is happily perched reading the book, I’m pondering to whom he is reading it. Any thoughts? Please share them with me below.
