The Tales of Beatrix Potter
Beatrix Potter is one of my favourite authors and her work has influenced my own creative processes. Like Beatrix, I love to create whimsical scenes inspired by nature.
Mrs. Old Rabbit & Peter

Spun cotton figure, 10 cm tall, 2025.
When learning to make spun cotton figures, I drew inspiration from Beatrix Potter’s classic The Tale of Peter Rabbit. I made Mrs. Old Rabbit and her mischievous son, Peter.

I invite you to make Mrs. Old Rabbit with me. Watch the tutorial below.
Mrs Tiggy-Winkle
Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle is my favourite Beatrix Potter character. She is kind-hearted, washing clothes for the animals that near by.
I invite you to make a miniature Mrs. Tiggy-winkle with cotton balls and other common craft materials.
Old. Mr. Brown
Earlier this year, I made a miniature version of a tawny owl inspired by Old Mr. Brown, Beatrix Potter’s cantankerous owl, from The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin. I was inspired to make the owl after receiving a request from a Wonder Weaver.
