Painting and planning the dollhouse’s interior

by | Dec 13, 2023

This past week I’ve been thinking about what I would like the interior to look like and have been playing with ideas in my journal, drawing inspiration from L.M. Montgomery’s  Anne of Green Gables and Jane Harrop’s Edwardian Miniatures. Jane’s book includes Edwardian style 1: 12 scale projects. I would like to include influences from both the Victorian and Edwardian periods. Of course, nothing is set in stone and I still haven’t worked out the colour scheme yet. Meanwhile, I’ve been stripping wall paper and painting, which was quite challenging.

In the video below, I reveal the results of this week’s efforts.

Have you done a project from Jane Harrop’s Edwardian Miniatures?  If so, what did you think? I’d love you to share with me. Meanwhile, if you would like to learn more about the book, paperback and kindle versions are available from Amazon.
